Congressman Reed’s Interview on AM Joy – Money Over People
Note the blushed look on his face, he’s looks like he was caught with his hand in the cookie jar!
We all need to take on Joy Reid’s demeanor when questioning him at Town Halls and ignore his ‘handlers’ Allison and Nick.
Regrettably, Joy does not seem very well-informed in this interview. She apparently did not realize that the amendment Faso introduced affects principally New York, and she confused the 19th and 23rd in general. She should have pointed out that what Reed’s poor constituents will trade for property tax relief, at least those who own homes, will be higher health care costs, or no health care coverage at all. I’m a bit confused how tax credits might help people who don’t owe (ergo, don’t file) taxes at all–the poorest among us. Does a tax “credit” translate into “health care subsidy” in such cases? Guess it’s time to read the damn bill!
