Want to help get our country back on the right track? You’ve come to the right place!

Indivisible of NY’s 23rd District is committed to moving our country forward, not backwards. Therefore, we highly encourage all citizens to actively engage their members of Congress through phone calls, letters, visiting Congressional offices, and attending Town Halls. We encourage you to read the Indivisible Guide for tips on how to do these activities most effectively, efficiently, and within our rights as U.S. citizens.

Please note that it is important to engage with our federal, state, and local elected officials.

On the federal level, all NYS residents have two U.S. Senators- Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand, and we have one Representative, which in the 23rd district is Congressman Tom Reed.

On the state level, all NYS residents have one NYS Senator, and one Assembly-member.  There are 63 total NY Senators throughout the state, and 150 total Assembly-members.  To learn who your Assembly-member is, click here.  To learn who your NYS Senator is, click here.

Action Priority:

One of the 23rd District’s priorities is to actively engage with Republican Congressman Tom Reed’s offices.  He was one of the first members of Congress to publicly support the current President, and worked on the current President’s transition team.
